Such a cool product; if you've got a little one and you want them to learn to ride a bike, this is the answer! Forget training wheels, let them roll around on one of these and they'll be on a pedal bike before you know it.

this is it...Last post about the Ass.. Every time i think i'm done, they throw another one my way...Yep, went in Monday for a tweak. They've got another Surgery planned for Friday the 6th... as bad as things have been for me, i am thankful that it isn't as bad as it could be... I know there are so many things worse than what i've got going on...

but yeah, i'm in a Darkplace...

can't wait till i'm off of these....

i want to thank all my buds who've emailed me , called, dropped by bearing gifts... Thanks Meeker for the Pappas&Beers Burrito Fix! Mmmm good.

Also Many Thanks to the Friends throwing some work my way! It has been a struggle staying well enough to get some work out the door. Thanks guys.

Damn it this is a beers and bikes blog, and i've done neither the past few months, nor does it appear that either will be a part of my life the rest of 2009.

well home again, home again! in the last month, 9 doctor's visits, 4 hospital visits, 3 surgeries, 1 CT scan, 1 extremely sore asshole.

My wife's theory is: that i am addicted to.....No not lortab or hydrocodone, but addicted to the care and pampering i receive from the Greenville Memorial Hospital staff... "want a heated blanket dear?" want some ginger ale?" Want some crushed ice? " Want something for the pain?" har dee har funny, funny babe.... it is true at home when i need something i usually hear a "Get it yourself". Really that is not true, my wife has been great throughout this whole ordeal... "thank you so much for putting up with my lame ass. "

Report from the Doctor is that everything is healing nice, and Monday have an appointment to tighten the seton (the string in my ass) can't imaging how much fun that's going to be. I do feel a whole lot better than i did a month ago.

Recovery, my ass!

Yesterday the process started all over again, Seems to me every other Thursday is spent in the Hospital... 24th of Sep (first surgery), 8th of Oct (second surgery) & yesterday started at the meeting with the anesthesiologist to go over next Thursday's follow up procedure/surgery.

the Brado Pain Scale

The night before the pain & pressure was once again rearing it's ugly head. on the pain scale of smilie faces i'm at a six/seven . So after that visit made an appointment to see the surgical group about what was going on down below...

I had just seen them on Tuesday and everything seemed fine...butt now something was wrong... I get to see the third partner in the surgical team... Well there was very little he could do in the office, so they send me back to the Hospital for a CT Scan then hopefully after a scan of my lower abdominal and rectal areas a clearer picture of what is going and what was possibly missed... was there a bigger cyst / abscess then what they had removed and drained?

I have never experienced a Colon /Rectal CT Scan before.... OMFG i hope i never have to endure that ever again in my lifetime.

There is nothing quite like a Barium Enema... Holy shit!

i'm sure that thing they shoved in my ass wasn't any bigger than the pinky finger of my lovely radiologist assistant, but i swear to god it felt like they shoved this up my fundament....

Still on for the Procedure the 29th! Yay can't wait...

Prognosis: Stay the Course, let the abscess drain, cope with the pain & pressure the best i can, bathe after every bowel movement, and try not to become an addict to lortab, and pray like hell that i don't have to spend the rest of my adult life shitting into a bag, because my butthole doesn't work.

I hate it.... that this is my favorite time of the year to be riding, and recently looking through some of my old photos and i really do miss my bike!
