got a call from family today about an accident involving a Parasail rope snapping; killing two people at Ocean Isle NC, yeah the very same one we're ridden year after year when we go there in June...

Trail work last night at , Paris, moved some bigass rocks for a future armoring project at the bottom of the hairball section of Sulfur Spring, i took some pix of the 4 of us who showed, maybe i'll post 'em next week at the rate i'm going... Procrastination it is a wonderful thing...

Diggin' in the Dirt

Diggin' it second weekend in a row. Got out early Saturday, we had a good turn out of folks...

It was cool got some need tools from the Ranger, and asked if everything we planned to do is cool? Not only was it cool, but told of out of all of the groups he deals with at the Park, he has complete faith in what we're doing out there. That was cool. so hopefully we don't screw that up.

We Started at the top and made our way down, getting rid of the straight fall line sections of trail and carving it up into some "S turns" and switchbacks... we have two more sections of turns planned (further down the trail) that we just didn't have enough folks for this day.... so if you're not doing anything the 29th come on out, bring the kids! we'll be providing lunch and refreshments!

Again thanks to Cecil, John, Sandy, MattG, Jeremy, Mike, SteveG, SteveW, J. and his son Jace, Rick T, DemoDave & his son for taking the time to give this trail some well deserved lovin'! It was pretty cool what we accomplished with such a small group.

Reminder: this coming Sunday (Aug 23) Issaqueena (Clemson) trail work on Doyle Bottom,

then the following weekend Saturday the 29th back @ Paris for some more switch back lovin'. this trail is gonna be sweet.

Fat Cyclist's wife Susan passed away, sad news indeed.

Last night made our way up to Paris for a scouting mission for what we're doing for the up coming DH Race in October. J. , Tomato w/ Shade & Buddy, Matt G., & Cecil. luckily nobody was killed or injured in this scouting mission, but it was close.
