working on Eric's newest race the Pisgah36 used to be The Most Horrible Thing Ever... to get a Forest Service permit this year, he had to change the name... I liked Pisgah 'Good n Plenty' ... but i think there may be some copyright infringements there. E has the date as February 6th, but seems that's the same day as the Snake Creek Gap Race#2 in Georgia... which every year, this race just gets bigger and bigger, so he's trying to get the date changed to the 20th.

Long Road to Ruin or Recovery?

Yeah, it's been a while.... nothing really to post, with the exception of the never ending medical problems... November 20th was the sixth surgical procedure... In the pre-op the doc came in and said you know this is like a movie i once saw.... and i immediately replied "Yeah, Ground Hog Day, with Bill Murray?"

He laughed and said "no that's not it, but that is a better analogy than mine...".

It's is pretty bad when the hospital staff knows you on a first name basis... The Doc say's "Left Side is done and healed, right side still needs more work, so looking at two; maybe three more procedures..." Butt i get a break for Thanksgiving!

i guess i am getting there slowly, but surely......soooo maybe for Christmas my ass will be healed!

Speakin' of Christmas.... We're looking for People interested in riding in this year's Greenville City Christmas Parade Saturday December 5th. Parade starts at 5PM got to be there an hour before at the University Ridge

don't know who the mule is going to be this year..

We're looking for all kinds of bikes, little bikes, kids bikes, big bikes, tall bikes, freak bikes, tandems, recumbents, munis ,trailers, anyone who wants to come out and ride, you need to register with Meeker @ Bikeville. we'll have the TTR Conference Bike and the Reedy River Rickshaws out there....Last year was great fun... Christmas Critical Mass!

i'm hoping to make it out to Tomato's Tiki Torch Turkey Time Trails to take pictures, tired of being stuck in this house...need to get out and have some fun

the Paris Mountain Downhill Race made the November issue of GO mag, which is cool, was hoping that we would've got the cover, but i wasn't expecting too much from a Triathlon, Running, Road cycling mag... but even a little exposure is better then none at all.

Such a cool product; if you've got a little one and you want them to learn to ride a bike, this is the answer! Forget training wheels, let them roll around on one of these and they'll be on a pedal bike before you know it.

this is it...Last post about the Ass.. Every time i think i'm done, they throw another one my way...Yep, went in Monday for a tweak. They've got another Surgery planned for Friday the 6th... as bad as things have been for me, i am thankful that it isn't as bad as it could be... I know there are so many things worse than what i've got going on...

but yeah, i'm in a Darkplace...

can't wait till i'm off of these....

i want to thank all my buds who've emailed me , called, dropped by bearing gifts... Thanks Meeker for the Pappas&Beers Burrito Fix! Mmmm good.

Damn it this is a beers and bikes blog, and i've done neither the past few months, nor does it appear that either will be a part of my life the rest of 2009.
