Great pics! I haven't made it up to Laurel yet. What's a good route to hit it for a Pisgah noob like myself?

1206 park at Pilot Cove Trailhead, head NE towards Yellow Gap/North Mills LEFT on Laurel Mountain UP to Good Enough Gap Left on to Pilot Rock Connector (don't go right; that's the Hiking trail to Pkwy) LEFT down Pilot Rock trail... LEFT at 1206 back to the car.

If have anything left Head up Pilot Cove Trail. Stay Left climb two miles RIGHT at the Top of the climb down Pilot Cove Loop to Slate Rock overlook... one of the best vistas in Pisgah. trail loops back down to where the car is.

Dude...
amazing shots, you really capture the terrain in a way the video shots completely miss. I will have to throw a link up tomorrow.
