Nothing like living in the heart of funky town; with the Crackhouse two doors down, there is never a dull moment at our casa. Last Friday night around 11:05 i took our dog out back for her to go pee. while on the deck waiting on the dog i was looking over towards the crackhouse, and i noticed flashlights under my next door neighbor JB's s back deck. His house is the buffer between us and
Skeletor (owner of the crackhouse) Earlier in the day we had nearly 2 inches of rain in a little over an hour. So i figured it was JB and someone else looking at some flooding damage or something...
Got the dog back inside and the wife asked "why was the dog barking?" i told her "JB and someone are in his back yard doing something... under his deck..." My dog continues going berserk... WTF? then my wife asks "why the hell is he under our deck... ?"
So i head back on to the deck...and noticed there are a 5 people snooping under and around my deck with lights... "Can I help you folks?" this eldery woman in a bath robe who's under my deck says "My daughter is missing, she's distraught, and has cut her wrist and is missing and we think she's under your deck"... Huh? <<>
Turns out the woman and two guys with her ...one of which hangs out at the Circus down the street. They all are squatters in the house of a wheelchair bound elderly man directly behind the crackhouse.... Also in the search are two City Police officers.
More Police arrive and join the search, and next thing you know we hear the daughter (i'd say early twenties) screaming out and yelling... and they pull her out of the bushes in our other next door neighbor's side yard... She's bleeding, and screaming her head off and stoned out of her mind..
The Ambulance shows up and then she starts fighting them, kicking calling them names... Elderly mom is fighting with the dude (daughter's boy friend) that hangs out down the street about doing drugs, and doin' this to her daughter... it was really kind of sad...
Just what if? what if they weren't searching for this girl? what if she died in our side yard bushes or under our deck? man, what if?
