this One Time at Band Camp....Part I

Saturday went up to my home away from home to catch the last day of the Pisgah Mountain Bike Stage Race. Beautiful autumn temps in the morning, followed by a warm sunshiny day. Two of my favorite trails to photograph were on the race course (Laurel Mountain Trail & Pilot Rock Trail.

Jamie & I took the slow route up stopping for the right spot for photos... then no riders, then to another spot, again would find the perfect spot... only no racers so we'd ride on further up the mountain... it was a little before 1oam and bam the first rider Drew Edsall... and all i got was this out of focus shot...

they were flying from starting at 9 and going up 280 to TurkeyPen, Vineyard, 5015 to 1206 / Laurel

The rest of the ride was find a good spot; shoot and move my way up; repeat .
