Got out of G'vegas
and up to Cove Creek in Pisgah Friday night and it was friggin' cold and wet... it rained all night long, we had a pretty good fire started ...
...and then heavy rains came.
The rain gave way to blue skies and cold winds.
Thank God for coffee & misguided Gnomes
time for Double Dare to start... What is Double Dare? Well it's 2 person teams that start at noon on Saturday and have to ride to find up to 10 checkpoints scattered throughout the forest, and then make it back before midnight or be DQ'd. Then at 6:00 am the next day to do it all over again and attempt to get 10 new checkpoints before 6:00pm Sunday evening.
